Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. She was born and raised in California in the USA. The career in modeling started in Italy. The first time she acted was the year 1996 when she was a part of "Her Costly Affair," the first TV film. Then, as a supporting character in the movie 'Starship Troopers', she struggled very hard. It was an extremely difficult time to make the transition between modeling and acting, as models were never seen as good actors and were often given smaller and inconsequential parts. However, Amy refused to give up and began to take on bigger parts eventually. This began in the show 'The 1970's' and the film "Varsity Blues". The 2005 film, a romantic comedy "Just Friends" featuring Ryan Reynolds gave her her first major role. Amy got her first recognition as a professional for her accomplishments over the past 10 years. Amy was later involved in various big-budget films, such as"Crank" and the "Crank" series, which starred Jason Statham, and the show "Shameless," where she became a cherished regular persona.
