Belknap is from Damariscotta in Maine. Belknap is the daughter of David Belknap, and Louise Belknap. She attended Lincoln Academy, Newcastle Maine. While a student at Middlebury College (Vermont), she began to become fascinated by the performing arts. Then she attended the American Conservatory Theater earning a Master of Fine Arts degree. Her most famous role is portraying the character of Sarah Newlin on the HBO vampire show True Blood as well as Aubrey Posen, in the Pitch Perfect movie series. Anna Camp grew up in South Carolina and is the daughter of Dee and Thomas Camp. Anna graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Camp filed for a divorce with her Pitch Perfect 32 costar in April 2019 following more than two years.
