Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. She was born the 9th of February in 1997. She was adopted when she was three by her grandmother, who was a slum dweller. The family she adopted is up of one Filipino adoptive mother as well as white American military veteran. The woman claims she and her brother adopted as an infant, suffered abuse before they joined the military. She and her family moved to Texas when she was 13 due to her father needing bypass surgery. They stayed for a few months living in San Francisco with her aunt. The physical attack was less severe, however she was still battling the psychological abuse her father suffered in her home. She was a member of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch opened her TikTok account in April 202020. She quickly rose to fame, amassing over 40 million followers in under eight months. Poarch posted numerous videos. However, her biggest success was a music video to Millie B's popular hit track Soph Aspin Send. The clip, which was zoomed in, of her rhythmically lip-syncing the song and leaping in sync with it, was a viral video that became TikTok's top-rated video. Following her joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account to capitalize on her popularity. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak during the month of December. The news reported that she drew the attention of two big professional Esports organisations. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves both showed interest in hiring the creator of the content as part of their brand.
